FOR IMMEDIATE MEDIA RELEASE

Dr. Ross Riggs, President of Security Consulting Investigations, LLC, author of “Stretching the Thin Blue Line: Policing America in Times of Heightened Threat announces his endorsement for Mary Taylor for Governor of Ohio. Dr. Riggs issued the following statement earlier today
“I have watched the work of Mary Taylor as State Auditor and as Ohio’s Lieutenant Governor. She is unabashedly Republican in her commitment to making Ohio everything that it can be. She has a plan to make income taxes more beneficial for individuals, families and business, including small businesses like SCI. She believes in local control on issues such as school safety and in eliminating Common Core. She believes in solid graduation standards with both college ACT scores and incentives for those who choose vocational education. Being licensed to carry a concealed firearm herself, she is a solid supporter of the 2nd Amendment and eliminating ‘gun-free’ zones in Ohio for licensed concealed carry. Particularly, she sees ways for Ohio to help local services such as faith-based groups, 501c3’s with others to work to solve the heroin and other drug issues and to help law enforcement put officers on the streets to battle drug dealers. She is prepared to eliminate sanctuary cities in Ohio, requiring any city that accepts state funds to enforce the U.S. immigration laws. Where Mike DeWine voted for illegal aliens to receive driver’s licenses and social security benefits, voting with Hilary Clinton on nearly 1,000 issues and a majority votes in his senate time with Barak Obama; Mary Taylor is who she says she is. I believe she understands the issues for Ohio law enforcement in training and certification issues and will be a positive force for both law enforcement and private investigators in Ohio to improve the current issues within the Attorney General’s Office under Mike DeWine. DeWine who says, as Governor, he will fight the heroin issue has, as Attorney General, created an environment where drug dealers are freed when drug tests results through DeWine’s BCI&I are so backlogged they cannot meet the court timelines. As the chief law enforcement officer in Ohio for eight years, DeWine has had more than his chance to improve law enforcement, training, laboratory effectiveness and our fight against drug dealers and human traffickers. In my opinion, after my own more than forty years with law enforcement, Mike DeWine has failed the people of Ohio. I believe in Mary Taylor and I encourage everyone who wants to see law and order return to Ohio to vote for her this primary.”
