Israeli Prime Minister Greets Christians at Christmas

As we approach Christmas and the celebration of the birth of our Savior, there will be many minutes of opportunity where you might share the message of the Jesus.

Just recently, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave Christmas greetings to Christians in Israel and around the world. This short message is worth hearing and is, perhaps, a great way to share with your own Jewish friends. It seems obvious that the Prime Minister believes in the physical presence of Christ as he talks about visiting the places where Christ walked while he ministered on earth. Joel Rosenberg who brought to our attention this short video clip, also wrote recently that the Prime Minister is holding Bible studies in his home. According to the Jerusalem Post, “Netanyahu said he was establishing the class to ‘perpetuate love of the Bible.’ Interestingly, in recent years Netanyahu — who has never described himself as a religious person — appears to have been developing a deeper interest in Bible study.”

Can I please ask you to pray diligently for Prime Minister Netanyahu that he would come to know Christ as Savior and as a country leader he might help bring his people to Christ as well? As always, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
